Microphone volume keeps changing!?

Hey guys,

 

So I have a problem where my microphone volume keeps changing to 100%, when I put it at 75%. A issue is the 'apply' button never works... So would anyone know whats going on?

Also exclusive mode is off.

Do you have any third party audio software? like Realtek HD audio manager?

I've noticed that happens whenever I used Mirillis Action. No matter what I set the volume to, once I started recording it would instantly go to 100%. What are you trying to do when it sets to 100%?

Anywhere from talking on Teamspeak to talking in game.

EDIT: Happens also when I play CSGO

Yes I do. 

Should I uninstall it, since I ran all my audio through a dac?

What I found myself having to do is start the application that increased the audio to 100%, then decrease the audio to wherever you want it to be while the application is open. (ie. Run cs, only then should you change your mic's power.)

Try turning it up in windows, and in Realtek HD Audio manager. Because even tough you have told windows not to handle your audio, Realtek still has permission to change the volume since it has its own driver

Thanks for the help guys, found out the issue in the end. Ended up I had to change my csgo config files audio settings, as I had an audio setting what changed my mics volume.
