FPS all over the show

My  PC specs are

FX-6300
4GB Kingston ram
EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked


For the most part it runs nice, but every now and then, the framerate drops.

not sure what it drops to, ( cant get evga precision x or fraps to work)

GeForce experience optimizes it for high settings but the wild FPS drops happen anyway, setting everything on medium doesnt change the FPS drops.


is the FPS going crazy for others???, i would assume so

It could be the RAM if something is using more than 4GB or RAM it will spill over on to your HDD. So that transition could be the problem.

RAM and or VRAM, check both while gaming and see their usage
