how to make a default windows image

Then you're going to need to use the tools in the Windows ADK, which is meant for large scale Windows deployments. You'll be able to customise the image in that, and use answer files to automate the install process (once you have your image how you want it, boot from it and it'll do all the manual work using your answer file). 

 

It's not simple, time consuming and rather technical. I haven't used it yet personally, so I can't help you with it. But that's where you need to be looking.
