Hi I have an entry lvl gaming pc that I custom built, and I am wondering if I'm on the right track with my new build. Here goes the specs.

asus strix 1080

asus strix Z270E

16gb g-skillz V ddr4

Intel I7: 7700k

evo- 212 cooler

evega G2 - 750watts

sandisk - SSD 120gb - OS

2tb WD- hhd - storage

wins 10pro

Hoping i I didn't make any mistakes.

I went as far as my wallet could take me ;)

Solid. Only things I would change:

- SSD sucks, all of Sandisk's SSDs suck ass besides Extreme Pro

- Cooler isn't that great, but it'll hold

What speed is the RAM clocked at? RAM speed makes a serious difference in gaming if the game loves to push the CPU hard.

idk

Ram I believe they are 2400mhz.

Evo I will get rid of overtime lol

im saving for a m2 drive hopefully in the near future o.O

Ah. Well, as the resident SSD guy, go for a Samsung PRO model, as the 960EVO is a good 200MB/s slower under heavy loads.

If you're on a budget, go for the OCZ RD400, which is nearly on par with the 960EVO at a lower price in some regions.

idk

entry level pc, has 1080 and i7 -_-

all looks good other than what was said,

the 212 will be fine. my main rig still uses the 212 while my three other rigs have other air coolers and the 212 runs the best out of all of them, other then my h100i of course lol (used on my 3d rendering rig)

Yeah I mean I haven't build a pc in over 10 years. and now I'm back in the game to some degree. Why wouldn't this whole back in the game thing be consider entry lvl.

7700k gets hot

And with that board there is so much OC potential

But it remains untapped with a mediocre budget cooler

idk

entry level means like budget pc. like a pc to just enter in the world of gaming, like cant run AAA games on high/ultra usally just low to med and cost like $500

but i get what you are saying when you say entry level
