Hi all,

I am going to be living in both Maryland and North Carolina over this next coming year and I want to build a pc that I will be able to take as a carry on. The case I have found is a Fractal Design Core 500 Mini ITX. I chose it because it is fairly small but it can fit my 280 mm radiator. according to Fractal, graphics cards longer than 170 mm long will not be compatible with PSU over 160 mm long. My PSU is 65 mm long and the gpu is 267 mm. Do you guys think I could get away with putting them both in? I willing to do some modding if I have too but I would rather not.

I will not change the PSU or cooler because I have spent over $200 USD on them.

The power supply will definitely make it pretty stuffy in there, will probably block the gpu

it is possible. but why not look for a case that will work rather than hack up a new one

I need a case about as small as that. It needs to be below Southwest's limit for carry-on bags plus space for an anne pro and a mouse. it also has to support a 280 mm rad. if you know of a case that can do that it would be great.
