What is the best HDD for gaming that is also quiet. I'm looking for 2TB for games only, maybe some videos. Thanks!

Seagate Barracuda 2TB. If you want silence, get an SSD

Depends on how much you would like to spend. Tbh, all HDD are dead silent and won't be audible, the main thing that stands out most are coolers

You sure it's the sound of the drive? My 2TB barracuda is very silent, at least silent enough to not be able to hear it over my stock cooler

@deXxterlab97 100% the crunching that thing does is unparalleled to anything I have heard. I have a 24tb LACIE that is more quiet. Its not the drive going bad either, I got a super deal on it like 20$ for 5tb brand new so I had to take it. But im looking to use that as storage if I need to store anything that isnt games more for like old stuff to keep. Planning on not keeping it in my build. Thats why im looking for a new 2TB hard drive
