Help WIth Ryzen Ram

Im currently Starting my first PC build and bought a Ryzen 1700 and have ordered everything except the RAM. 

Which leads me to my question. Do i need to buy AMD ryzen specific ram? and if so which would be optimal 

DO i need more Frequency or Memory. I do know it needs to be DDR4

G.Skill 2x16 2400MHz /VS/ G.skill 2x8 3200 (because they dont make a 3200Hz 16 bit flare X)

-OR-

should i go with a ripjaws or a vengeance corsair. (DDR4 3200 8 or 16 GB)

 

i know hat any ram could work but i need to know whats optimal.

from the reviews I have seen the Flare X ram seems to play better with the AMD chips but its not required

@ELSknutson ok working on the primes that flare x is the way to go what would be optimal? 8x2 at 3200hz or 16x2 at 2400hz

Yep make sure whatever you select is in the QVL because otherwise i think you can't RMA your parts
