I got a fx 8320 and msi 970fx mobo last night while talking off the cooler the cpu got stuck and fell off and bent some pins. Should I try and find another cheap fx chip and sell it or just sell the board how much could i get for the mobo

Can't you just bend them back?

Not talking about brute force.

As @Erest said, it would be easier to bent them back if it is possible of course. PS: you could use a credit card and some tweezers.

Off topic: I am very curious on how you did that, for real. I can't even imagine how that happened. It fell on what? Or how it fell? (just curious) 

On topic: I'd suggest you buy another CPU if it is very damaged.

I'm rma my z170 mobo so I was gonna put the 8320 mobo in the case as my fill in main rig for the time being in was taking off the stock cooler to use my cryorig h7 when I was unmounting the cooler it got stuck so I spinner it off and instead of falling into my hand it went flying hit the ground and flipped twice and landed on the pins
