PCpartpicker list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Jigg3h/saved/npzgsY

My budget is around $1600 CND.

This is my first build, I dont really care for lighting effects, just want it to look simple and clean. Also I want to be able to overclock in the future.

The $40 Windows 10 is from Kinguin.

This seems like everything was budgeted towards getting the i7-7700k. Is it really worth it? I kind of liked the NZXT S340 and the 525 GB SSD. Any downsides to the i5-7600k?

the 7600K will struggle in games at 1080p 144hz with a gtx 1070, while the 7700k would perform better, won't bottleneck at all and have less fps drops and stuttering. it's worth it.
