Recording/streaming Problem with OBS

hey guys

whenever i want to record (i hardly stream) i always have extreme lag. i use the same settings as my friend with a 1080 but worse cpu (BUT he uses them for streaming).

what am i doing wrong?

Under Output, try changing Encoder to NVENC.

A whole new application actually, OBS Studio. The old version is now OBS classic.
