headphone suggestions?

The Sennheiser HD 7 is currently on sale on Amazon at a good price. That one may have an extra thump to the bass but it should have the usual warm Sennheiser tone.

 

There's also the HD598 C that you could take a look at. Most Sennheiser headphones are going to have a good warm tone.
