so my pc wont post. i was playing watchdogs 2 and it was working fine. i then put my pc into sleep mode for about 30 mins. i then turned on my pc. the fans drives and leds were on but there was no display. i then just powered the system down. after that i tryed booting it up and my bios was hanging for about 10-15 seconds before attempting to boot to windows. when it was booting i was getting a bluescreen with the error "inaccessible boot device". i tried running windows diagnostics and nothing came up. so i restarted my pc and now nothing happens. one of my CPU fans will spin and the other does not do anything. and my drives will spin up and thats it. my keyboard and mouse dont lite up and there is no display. i have tried clearing the CMOS and nothing nothing happens.

CPU i5 4690k

GPU 1070

motherbored gigabyte z97x gaming 5

RAM 8gb hyper x fury

Storage 240gb ssd + 2 1tb drives in raid.

Hey @Cieran56

1. Have you tried to do a " hard reset" ? sometimes after going into hibernate/sleep Windows got trouble waking up again.

1.1 power on the computer like you normaly would.

1.2 holddown the power button until it powers off

2. clear the Cmos by removing the battery at the motherboard, removing a jumper or pressing a button. (read your motherboard manual if you arent sure how this works.)

3. If you haven't already it might be worth reading the post linked below. IT has alot of trouble shooting tips for post/boot problems.

Also, have you tried to pull the SATA from the HDD to motherboard out and plugged it back in? (please shutdown pc first ;) )

Edit: do you have disk encryption enable? Bitlocker for example?

Hope this helps :)

ive tried all of that. ive managed to get windows installed but for some reason when i enable RAID in my bios it crashes windows with the boot device error. i disabled RAID and now my harddrives are stuck in RAID even after i wiped them. deleted the raid in the bios and reinstalled the bios

Very strange indeed =/

Even after raid remove the problem still occures? have you tried to connect hdd to other pc using a SATA > USB adapter and format it that way? do with all drives and try again. (correct me if im wrong but to my knowledge removing raid doesnt whipe the disk, making raid does tough)
