Hey everyone!

I'm going to step up my 1080 Hybrid to a 1080ti and want to upgrade that one with an AIO watercooling.

Right now, I'm really interested into the Alphacool Eiswolf which seems to give good cooling results, but I'm a bit concerned about how leakproof it is.

The system will be mostly stationary, but sometimes I'll transport it to friends or Lan-Parties by car.
Will the vibration possibly loosen the connections of the Quick-Connect system and how secure is that system itself?

Does anyone have any experience with it (it's the same QC system used in their Eisbear product)?
I know, even if it disconnects it SHOULD not leak, but internet sources say a few drops might come out and these would land on my mainboard when the system is lying on its side (the only way the computer fits into my trunk).
Due to performace and looks I'd really like to get the Eiswolf, but if it's not safe for my system, I guess I'll go get the Arctic Accelero Hybrid III then, since that one is fully closed (never had issues with closed loops before).

Thanks for your Info!

My limited experience with the Alphacool quick-connect fittings has been a good one, they've never leaked on me. But they are right in saying a few drops may come out, but when that happens it is very very little.

It would be a good idea to wrap the disconnects in tissue paper as if you were leak testing a machine, while it is in transit. When you get to the destination, inspect the tissue paper. It will be immediately obvious if there is a leak. If not then you are good to go.
