My World Of Warcraft keeps crashing wifi

Whenever my friend tries to boot up battle.net or World of Warcraft on his laptop, it keeps crashing his wifi. What is going on?

What do you mean by this? Does he lose connection? Does the adapter disconnect? Do the drivers crash?

Quote or tag if you want me to answer! PM me if you are in a real hurry!

Probably driver related, is it only battlenet? Check firewall settings also but this seems odd. But then I had an issue years ago where everything worked fine until I tried to use teamspeak (ventrillo worked fine) - when ever I did it cause my game to crash

Turned out it was the onboard network, I had to use a PCI card and everything was fine - isolating that took weeks!!

It might be crashing if there's a large patch or update trying to download over wifi, try hard-wiring in until this completes.

So if it's wifi.  I've seen weird issues with that.  see if plugging directly in will make it work for now.  if it does let me know.
