Format all partitions, then delete them all and restart.

1. you have more than one disk? remove the other disk you're not installing Windows on
2. remove all partitions from the disk you intend to install Windows on and click Next - Windows will create it's own partitions as needed

You can try using a new partition, failing that try using Diskpart. Also, disconnect any drives, or excess cds / usb devices you can.

You can also try installing it onto an external HDD or flash drive and just moving the files to your hard drive manually.
