I had been planning on building a PC last year over the holidays and I spent months researching what parts to choose. I was on a tight budget so my final build ended up costing just under $1000AUD ($760USD) in a red/black theme. I had two friends that were helping me out with building my PC and they had some spare parts from when they upgraded so I ended up getting a 120GB Sandisk Ultra Plus SSD and a Delta 750W power supply from them. I also found an old 500GB HDD from an old laptop so I decided to use that aswell. At this point I was in search for a case and a monitor because they were the only parts I didn't mind if they were second-hand because they don't affect the performance from old use and if I were to ay for shipping since I live in Australia the rate would be through the roof so I found someone selling a NZXT S340 for around $80 and lowballed them and they unfortunately declined my offer, but I then realised they were also selling a curved samsung monitor for around $200 and decided to see if I could buy both of them bundled together and we settled on a price of $236 (Which also came with an extra fan). Now I had to buy the rest of the items online and purchased a i5-6500, Asus B150M-A motherboard (It was on sale and only $10 more expensive than a plain Jane lga1151 mobo), GTX 1060, 8GB of Crucial ram. This had been going on for a while and it was my birthday and I ended up getting a pair of Sennheiser HD 451 Headphones (which are blue and black ;-; contrasting my colour scheme). I was finally done getting all of the components and the only thing I had left to do was build it. I got my two friends over to my house, unboxed everything and began building. We had cable managed everything and it seemed like a great success when we realised that the connector for the power supply didn't reach my CPU header....... The only way we could get it reach was by putting the powersupply ontop of my case.. not only this but the connector on the power supply for the 6-pin (what my GPU uses) was split into two so if I had it in my GPU there would be a hanging cable so in the mean time I made my own 'cable mod' and used red electrical tape to cover up the other connector (oh god it looked so awful).

To improve the look I also used a sharpie to colour in the intel sticker on my heatsink so that it matched the red/black colour scheme. I had to buy a 6-pin and 4-pin extension cable to fix these issues (which took months because I got the wrong product sent out and couldn't get in touch with customer support from umart) but I eventually got the cables, re-built my PC and I think it looks beautiful. I also built a custom monitor stand out of some ply-wood and now have a finished my setup.

Here's some pictures of it :) (Sorry for potato quality)

I wanted to use shadowplay/share and other Nvidia features that the RX480 didn't have also it was more expensive because I built this PC when it just came out so it would've been around $350+

Hmm ah ok. Though I have RX 480 4gb. Relive is really nice. Does same with thing with Shadowplay
