emlc ssd

so for my next build i want it to be really future proof cause im going to upgrade it later instead of starting all over again... im looking for a emlc ssd because it has a longer life span than mlc ssd. 

which ssd are emlc??

that is enterprise grade hardware, you have no use for that.

its basibally the same as mlc ssd but a bit slower.. i know that but i want the extra life spam. i do have need for that

You misunderstand - enterprise hardware is intended for enterprises, meaning multimillion dollar corporations. Because of that, prices are hyper inflated.

 

Here is a list of eMLC drives, you will see that they are roughly 4-5 x the cost of a consumer grade SSD. Consumer grade SSDs can still last for years.

edit - not to mention that it physically won't be compatible, it would be an SAS drive ( another enterprise grade standard)
