Trust GXT 340 huge buzzing

Hi everybody,

I have a Trust GXT 340 which worked perfectly fine until today.

The problem is that it works fine for about 10 seconds and then it starts buzzing and not just a small annoying sound, it's an enomous buzz. After the buzzing stops the mic doesn't work anymore. The only thing the mic picks up is the buzzing.

Does anyone have an idea if this is fixable?

I dont know if this is related or not, but the mic on my Cloud2 started producing some really bad static noise when I was quiet for a longer time. I would kinda bump the mic and tap on it and it was gone for like 1-2 hours. I just assumed the mic was dying, because ive been really putting the headset through its paces for the last 2-3 years.
