So I have encountered this problem with my new mousepad. Whenever i lift my mouse up and place it back down, it suddenly won't work, so I do the same again, still won't work, i do this untill it work again. And the next time I lift it up, and put it back down, same thing, all over again. This is a MAJOR problem, expesially when I play games, where I can't afford a malfunctioning mouse. But the weird thing is, when I use it on my desk without a mousepad... NO problems what so ever, lag free. This have been a problem since i first got my new mousepad 5 days ago, and it is literally unbarable, so unless I find a solution to it, then i will just have to buy a new one :( Do annyone know why this happends? Is there some sort of compability issues with sertain sensors and sertain mousepad materials? My mouse is the Naga HEX, and my mousepad is the Mionix propus 380

That is probably the sensor not the mouse pad. Does it work fine on other pads/a wood table?

Indeed it does. I just tried it on my sisters mousepad, and it worked like a carm, it also work on a table, just a little bit of lag, but I want a mousepad to not to ruin the "feet" or whatever they are called.

How often does this problem occur? Is it constant or is it every once and a while using the pad?

I dont know why that is happening but Mionix claims the pad is made out of weird materials and thats my best guess. Before you get a new one try fiddling around in the DPI settings. I highly doubt that will do anything but its worth a shot.

If you can't get a solution I suggest buying the QCK heavy or QCK+. Your pad is a hard mat so a soft one might be better. I have a deathadder and I can say it works well.

I am just getting a new one, but now I won't mess arround with funky materials, and basically go for a original sof one, from our trusted friend corsair ;D

Nah get that QCK heavy. Not because I think it is really better in terms of tracking but the thickness is very comfortable for resting your arm. Trust me on this the pad is amazing :)
