Best overall headphones around $100 USD

Droidbot

So I'm looking to buy closed-back headphones for around $100 USD. Amazon prefererred as I live in Australia and shit is expensive.

Being used for gaming (CSGO mostly) and music, namely pop and chill music (go to Poolside.fm to see a little bit of what I mean). Need clear vocals.

If open-back can get me a little bit better value I'd take them as well.

@Aytex suggested HD598Cs, how are they as a suggestion?

idk

I'm not looking for gaming headphones. I want actual decent sound, not muffled trash.

cant go wrong with https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-hifiman-he-350 or AKG K92. Also consider Philips SHP9500

Sennheiser 598  is costs usually bit more, but maybe worth it. Personally would save up and then get K7XX from massdrop and a dac/amp combo

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm considering K7XX now as well, thanks.

I've bought headphones and a phone from this website:

https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/audio/headphone.html

Shipping is cheap and all pricing is in AUD, highly recommended.

I think these are similar to the k7xx?:

Not that similar. K7xx is more like AKG K702 65th-anniversary edition

Ofcourse if you are gonna spend that much then other Sennheisers, Beyerdymanics may be considered as well. Especially if you dont want to spend extra on an AMP/DAC combo since those AKG will need one

DT880 32 ohms,  Audio-Techinca MX50, AKG 550

Personally I use Hifiman HE 400i, which are bit pricier but used ones are 250-300 dollars. Steal for that price.

This could be interesting.
