What's wrong with the current PSU?

I think I'm just gonna wait for Ryzen.

If you have the money, upgrade the CPU rather than adding an SSD or getting a different power supply. Try to get a Core i5 7600 or one of the upcoming Ryzen 5 chips when they come out in a two weeks.

I mean that you shuold upgrade the CPU, not add an SSD or change the power supply.

Waiting is a good idea.

I'm not so good at making builds I only know some basic stuff please help me make this build for gaming (ex: rainbow six siege, gta v, possibly arma 3 and these kinds)

Is it actually possible to play the game I listed on high settings over 60fps and maybe over 150fps(for future 144hz monitor upgrade) with 750$? Thanks a bunch.

EDIT: I already have peripherals, windows copy, DeepCool Gammaxx 400, thanks.

depends,

do you need any peripherals? Do you have any components you can/will carry over from a different build?

Not possible, you need to at least bump up your budget to $1000. Also does this include peripherals?

This would get you close to that performance (60fps+ & 1080p) should you not need any peripherals.  You would need to obtain a copy of Windows.

You must be a special kind of bampot. It's possible to put together a respectable gaming PC that can play games at 60FPS high for less than $750 and include a monitor AND peripherals AND windows. Stop spreading the bullshit that someone needs to spend a shit-ton to have a good PC gaming experience.

People who spend $1000 on a PC are a minority, going by the Steam hardware survey. Not everyone has $1000 to spend on a PC, so you're either flaunting your wealth or, well, being delirious.

Cut back a wee bit on CPU power to fit a GTX 1070 in, which is necessary for 1080p 144hz gaming. Your CPU upgrade path goes up to the Core i7 7700, which is probably more than you'll ever need.

Yes, but I think my response is justified because not everyone will know not to give his words any weight. I'd rather be 'baited' than let someone be convinced they need to spend a lot of money to have a solid gaming PC.

You can make a PC for $325 that has great performance. Look in my signature for the parts list. It's actually faster than my $500 2015 rig on DX12 titles.

mid tower case but i want a Segotep SG-K7. I have DeepCool Gammaxx 400 but does it need any extra cooling?

It doesn't make a difference. I put in a 1x8GB stick because that motherboard only has two slots for RAM. If you only have one 8GB stick, you can add another stick without removing anything. If you have 2x4GB, you'll have to remove one stick to upgrade. That's a waste of money.

The Gammaxx 400 is a great cooler. Use it for better temps and more quiet operation.

Segotep? Wait, you don't live in the US, do you?

No I don't, I just use $USD as the currency so you guys don't get confused when picking parts.

That's pretty stupid. Prices will change depending on your country, and the same parts won't be available.

Exactly. They still sell 900-series cards 50% above MSRP here in India.

Yeah, but how many Rupiah? Still haven't given me your budget in your local currency. Your USD budget has to account for shipping. Is it equal to 750 USD- 10,000,000 Rupiah? (holy nother of inflation),

Yes 10,000,000 Rupiah. It sounds a lot but it's about the price of an iPhone 6

Your sites are too hard to use. Here's what you should have-

  • Core i5 6500
  • H110 Motherboard
  • 1x8GB RAM
  • RX 480 8GB (4GB if you can't afford the 8GB version)
  • 1TB hard drive
  • A power supply from either Seasonic or Super Flower. These are the safest companies- other companies make good PSUs, but they also make bad ones. These two have never made a bad PSU. The SeaSonic ECO-430 is really cheap on EnterKomputer, and it's great. I have it, and can personally vouch for its quality.

From what I saw, along with your Segotep case, this will run you about 10,000,000.

I don't really need 16gb for gaming right, I'll just get 2x4 RAM instead.

I have FSP Hexa+ 400w is it enough?

Should I wait for AMD VEGA or just get RX 480 instead?
