I have amd a10-7850k without dedicated gpu which still has pretty good graphcis performance, 8gigs dual-channel 2133mhz ram (2gb dedicated to vram) and 2tb hdd + 120gb ssd. In most of new games I forced to play at 720p low settings at 30-40 fps, but the game look differs a lot. So, for example, battlefield 1 and doom 4 looks awesome (doom 4 actually rans at 45-50fps, thanks to vulkan), witcher 3 also looks good but drops to 20 sometimes, and usually not goes beyond 33, but some games like rise of the tomb raider and fallout 4 look bad and run bad too. Deus ex mankind divided on 800x600 is unplayable. Is it just not powerful enough, or performance can be improved in software way?

Also my graphics if overclocked from 720 to 900 mhz.

Another 8 GB of ram will help and its cheap, allocate 4GB to VRAM, you could get an RX470, 460, or 1050 for not very much

Your capped on iGPU performance. To get anything better will require a dedicated card.

I don't think more vram will help much. Faster memory might help, but your at the point of strong diminishing returns

System specs:

4790k

GTX 1050

16GB DDR3

Samsung evo SSD

a few HDD's

Onboard graphics is not the way to play new AAA games...

Buy a proper graphics card.

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C   Displays: 34" LG34UC79G, 24" Dell
