Just means there is board power. If you shut it down and turn off the power supply or unplug form the wall, it should take a few seconds before the LED goes out because of capacitors.

Yeah theres always little things you worry about with new builds or if you're new altogether. Luckily there are communities like this tohelp you out if you have questions.
