Underscore is blinking for a long time

I am booting the device and it took ' it's time' to boot. An underscore has been blinking for like 30 seconds before it got booted up.

   I have HDD. Does it take this time for everytime? No. This is the 2nd time in a while. Why? Uploaded the file.

That, or your os may have been installed incorrectly, have a virus, or some other bloat the the computer has to load. Or your computer may be just a tad bit old, thus the hardware can't keep up with the software.

Well, if it's bloat, all I can say is backup your important data and reinstall your OS. At some point you should upgrade to an ssd, there getting pretty cheap nowadays, and they will only get cheaper.
