Keys not working

Hi all,

My keyboard blackwidow ultimate 2014 some of the keys have stop working, around 4 keys but i do not know why. I have tried it on another computer and the keys still does not work. There are no macros.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Soundstage bit strange. Might be a faulty unit. Keys aren't supposed to die very quickly. Idd just contact razor

That could explain it. I don't really know what you could do than ,Might need a new keyboard.

Cant i open it all the way up and check?

It's hard to check. Keyboards are usually sealed up pretty well. Even if you do get in water damage may not be apparent. Depending on how much you spilt it could look like obvious corosion or not. Regardless a short circuit caused by water could have fried some switches or some of the hard ware. How long ago did you spill water on it? If it was recent you may be able to dry it out but by the sounds of it the damage has already been done. Is the keyboard splash resistant? I know mine is so if yous is you may be able to get a warranty.

Is there a way to fix cause a short circuit, i just got done cleaning a friends keyboard after he spilt soda on it and the H and W key no longer work so are they PERMA fried?

I honestly don't know much about key switches so it is 50/50. There is a good chance they are fried. You can try to clean up the inside. Could be dust or something but I doubt they can be revived
