Bios Processor Code Modding

Hello, I have a Dell XPS 420 and it runs like a champ, I just want a newer processor for it. I am going to purchase a Xeon X5450. Problem is it is socket LGA 771 and my mobo supports LGA 775. It has the tape mod but somebody said I would need to add 771 microcodes to my bios. Anyway of going about this? I'm running dell bios rev A07.
