BIOS UPDATES???
Go to solution
Solved by DrMikeNZ,
The operating system and data is stored on your HDD and/or SSD. When you update the BIOS it will only modify the information on the motherboard itself and will not impact the operating system or any of your files.
If you configured the BIOS to with any settings such fan profiles or overclock etc these will be lost.
If you are not having stability issues, and there are no change logs relevant to resolving an issue you are having or new feature that you need, updating the BIOS is not needed.
