Smartphone choice

Since I'm not very smart when topic is phones, I came for advice here.

 

I finally decided to spend some money on my new daily phone. I don't like iPhones, because in my opinion they are very over priced, so please don't suggest them.

 

I was thinking about Sony Xperia X Compact, since I seen a good review on Z5, but I'm not sure how are the X-series, so first of all would be nice to get some opinion about that phone.

 

However, I'm open for suggestions. Mainly I'm using phone for taking pictures. That is the most important thing for my probably. Of course battery life does matter, since I used iPhone for a while and in battery aspect I was very disappointed. I never play games on phone, so basically I'm just taking photos and using social media. Thats probably all.

 

Price almost doesn't matter. However, as I said before, I don't want over priced iPhones. ATM I'm mostly looking at Sony Xperia X Compact, but have no clue is it any good or no?

The Huawei Mate 9 is in that list, and stands out for having a 4000mAh battery.
