Hey what's up everyone I've never tried modding anything but recently I've wanted to try something new and I wanted gut an Xbox 360 and make a mini-itx PC using the Xbox 360 case. The only issue I am having it's finding a power supply I'm looking for a power supply that that EVGA hadron air Mini ITX case came with. I don't know what could or GPU I want to use yet most likely low to mid ranged tho since it's a very small enclosure. Does anyone have any tips or advice that will help me with this project

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX GPU: AMD RX 6800M RAM: 16GB  SSD: 500GB NVME

I have no idea about the PSU, you could try a SFX unit or something. Also a 1050Ti low profile could fit in there perfectly

I was looking at a single slot 1050 idk if they have single slot 1050ti I'll take a look and the PSU in the EVGA case I think it's called a 1U power supply im just not sure if I would have to find a way to get that one or if all 1U psu come with all the connections that I need. I may also need car to try and organize everything before actually attempting this haha

Holy crap didn't know the low profile 1050ti was actually that small I could just take that metal bracket off and it would be all good and fit virtually anywhere in the xbox

1U is one server unit high, so about 1.75". Might be able to pull a used server PSU or something. SFX is around 2.5in.

idk

I think it would be really hard to fit even a SFF power supply and a GPU in there, even a half height one like the MSI 1050ti.

Image result for xbox 360 pc mod

Not that much space for a GPU here, even with that tiny PSU

Quite a few people have modded a PC in a 360 case though, you can probably find plenty of examples online.

Does you mum know you're here?

with the 1050Ti's low power draw, you could go and mount it over a SSD or something in the case with a riser and use a picoPSU + external power brick to power the whole show

idk

Picopsu? How does that work exactly?

Dude you rock this will be the most expensive part of the whole build but well worth it considering I will be able to fit the GPU in there with no problems
