So i have a friend who is offering me his 1080 Ti FE for my EVGA 1080 SC ACX and 250$ would that be worth it? he bought it for his PC but then something happened and he needs quick cash and he wants to help a friend out in the process

I think that is more of a personal thing. 

Is it worth it to you out of a sheer performance trade-off?

Is it worth it to you to help out your friend? 

 

I think the Ti will age better in price over the 1080, so it may also be worth it in that regard as well.
