Hey, I currently have eight gigabytes of ram, but I am planning on making a ram drive for a speed run of borderlands two... It's old, I know, but the guy who did it before made an error in his quest lineup and I'm pretty sure I can beat it... But there's one thing stopping me from doing it, and it's my storage. I currently have a hard drive that is not fast enough for a speed run on a game like borderlands. Buying an ssd, even a cheap one, would be more expensive, and I hardly ever turn off my computer, so I don't care about boot times. I have found a stick of ram that looks nice, but I'm not sure if it will run on my motherboard, as it's fairly cheap. Both are DDR4, but idk if my motherboard will accept such a large stick.

RAM:https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-Vengeance-1x16GB-3000MHz-Memory/dp/B019HVSNA6/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1489440497&sr=8-7&keywords=ddr4+memory+16gb

My motherboard: MSI B150M BAZOOKA (MS-7982)

Thanks in advance!

According to what I can see that board only takes memory with a speed of  2133MHz

The memory will work, but it wont run above that speed. I would try to save some money buy buying cheaper memory as it wont run any faster anyway (Speed doesnt usually make much of a differnce anyway).

Ok, but the memeory i showed is cheaper than the 2133 mhz 16 gig stick fyfey linked. Is there any advantage to buying that ram over the one i linked?

No, it will run the same (Just at 2133 instead of 3000).
