I love watching music videos as most have very artistic effects that most movies would never have. They seem like they let a video editor do whatever they want in AE for a week. Anyways how would I replicate the continuous camera but cuts in between look? I know they used some animation and green screens and the camera looks very fluid to be real but who knows.

That effect of an elevator arriving on top of the other one should be fairly simple.  You just film one leaving, and then one arriving, and then overlay them with motion tracking and some simple masks

 

If you mean the part where the camera is rotating slowly but people are teleporting, I assume they had it mounted to some sort of device that lets them move and rotate it slowly, and they simply stopped moving, let everyone move, then resumed moving, and cut out the stationary parts later

 

And yes, in some parts I imagine they would have used green screens, or at least masking of the original footage, combined with 3D rendering, for example for the shot in the elevator shaft where the camera approaches from a distance there would not have been room for in real life.

But during the part when the camera is spinning and they keep swapping sides I can see a small haze around the people that is slightly lighter then the surround area. Might be normal from lights or they cut them out.

A lot of practical effects and multiple takes.  The elevator is simply a prop, a box built in the shape and size of an elevator that they could probably rotate and move around.

 

Then all of the shots combined and compositing done in post.
