DRM only hurts paying customers and in my opinion it straight up promotes piracy. It does not prevent cracking and it may push some people over the edge simply because they are tired of having to deal with the latest bs they have to go through to access a game they paid for.

Just look at movies - if I buy a bd I can only play it through a specific device with a specific cable or, if I want to use a pc, buy a commercial player only because of drm. If, instead, I were to download a pirated copy, I could play and store it whenever and wherever I want on any device powerful enough to decode the content - on top of not having to pay. Since all this DRM does not prevent movie pirating in any way, all it does is making the pirated copy even more compelling. The same goes for games.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
