Audio Glitching in Windows 8

I have my music playing in Windows Media player while im playing my game and its usually fine.

 

However if I do anything inside chrome it causes the audio to glitch. Mainly when I change pages or open a new page.

 

Does it help that my music is storage on my 2nd HDD with my games. Chrome is running on my main HDD with Windows 8
