Updating Chrome

I am unable to update chrome to the latest version because it says this

i am curious as to why as my account is the administrator account.

yeah its my school account but it has worked previously

Well the issue is that your school administrator for whatever reason doesn't allow updates. You will have to speak to your school about it. Odds are, you aren't missing anything though so I wouldn't worry about it.

i will just try reinstalling chrome

if it is the schools then your account isn't the admin account

also some chrome extensions need admin privileges and some don't it could be the old ones didn't and this one did you just have to ask they to update it

You haven't been delegated enough privileges for the update then.

no i own the laptop but the school monitors it. and control panel says that my account is admin.

Your account may be admin, but the school can still delegate which privileges you get.
