Second.. If you plug into the Mobo you will be using onboard graphics chip which is < dedicated graphics card

There isn't a problem. But presumably you have the graphics card to either play games or do other demanding tasks. So if you plug it into the motherboard you won't be able to take advantage of the hardware that you have.
