Static when i move mouse

Hi guys

 

So this problem occurred a little while ago but it fixed itself and now its back. whenever i plug in my line in cable from my laptop, i can hear static whenever i type or move the mouse. i've seen people talk about interference if the USB keyboard/mouse are plugged in near the speakers but i didn't change a thing and it fixed itself before and i still haven't changed a thing and it started again. also my headset is plugged in at the back next to the line in port and my speakers are plugged in at the front panel port but i can hear the static no matter which one i use.

 

Any suggestions on what i can do?

I have a troubleshooting guide in my signature. My guess is it's a driver issue if the problem is intermittent. A cheap Asus Xonar DG or DGX would probably fix it, but I would try to narrow down the problem first.
