PS4 controller on pc

Hello,

 

I am currently trying to connect my dualshock Controller to my PC in order to play some games with it (shooters, rainbows or battlefield) 

 

And I was wondering if anyone of you had any experience with this and maybe some tips and tricks for me.

 

I currently use DS4Windows as a driver, it's working but still running into some issues with aiming and Controller not responding the same every time.

 

And somehow I feel I misspelled the word "controller" ....

I really wasn't planning on that, since I connect the controller with a cable I figured I would be fine

The cable constrains you and you need the right software to use it that way, and 3rd party apps aren't always the best. 1st party apps are going to work the best.

 this kinda shows the bluetooth reciever is a bit of a waste. its just for wireless control as far as i can tell, and i'm using a decent long cable so i'm good there..

Don't get the ps4 dongle. Get one of these.

Works perfect with ps4 controller. 

And are you sure the programe is the right ds4windows as there's an older version of it.

Also, in the ds4windows make sure hide ps4 controller is selected.
In the main screen it should say using exclusive mode, if there's any red text then you need to close and relaunch it and if that doesn't work close uplay, origin and steam and relaunch it.
