I was wondering, is it more effective to get a really good charging case, or replace my phone's battery? I would like to avoid getting a new phone if I can because my phone works fine, minus the battery.

Honestly, just get the battery replaced. It's a super easy process and it doesn't cost to much money.

My 24m contract expires next month. I was about to send my phone in for repair, but decided to upgrade to the 7 plus instead. The up front payment was almost exactly the same as the value of my phone at the minute if sold privately so I just did that.

If I wasn't able to just upgrade, then I would have fixed the battery. I've done it before, it's fairly easy and the iFixit guides are fantastic
