Basically. Though you don't have to, you can leave it unactivated.

Hi guys.

Unsure if this or the os is the correct place to post but anyway.

Yesterday I installed two new radiator fans and decided to do abit of cable management around the back so unplugged everything and started again.

First issue after booting up was that my two HDD's were not recognised, only my SSD. I tried unplugging new wires and nothing. In the end I decided to take them out for now.

Booted up again and Windows said it needed to check my disk. It did, no issue then he PC restarted. This is where it all went crap. Everything was running mega slow and my monitor kept flashing. It did this every time I restarted. I tried about 3 times and on the last it said the below.

I tried everything on this but it's stuck on this loop. Bios recognises my SSD but I can't even get to desktop. Anyone know what the hell is going on and how to fix it?

These are bugs in Windows 10 that get very annoying, I've experienced them. If you remove or install hardware, Windows 10 will basically... Well Fuck Up. The only thing I do is reinstall Windows 10 and it works fine afterwards.

Hi. How can I do that when its on a constant loop?

It won't let me restore, enter safe mode or anything.

Thank you. After ending up having to contact Microsoft customer service all has now been sorted. Unfortunately I lost all my data tho :(
