i would have cut some 1x4 boards to wall length then had helper hold insulation in place and screwed board to wall on top insulation as clamp and trim board

then done same at bottom.

if had router routed a 1/4 lip on those boards put pegboard sheet squeeze insulation to wall and give tool or cable manage future options
