Pro Tools Build

Hey, I'm building a new PC for my dad. He is going to be only doing work on it, no gaming. The main purpose will be for Pro Tools (music production software) so if anyone is experienced with this program I would like some advice on sound cards, what CPU to get, etc. His max that he would want to spend is probably 3000, but try to keep it below that if possible. Thanks!

Does he have any external peripherals that must be connected?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I'd recommend getting one of those completely passively cooled systems if you're doing like a studio setup
