new here and need help

new to the forums but been a fan of linustechtips for a year now. my free trial for my antivirus has ended and im looking for a really good antivirus thats free and easy to use. i tryed looking at other websites but i dont wanna trust pc articals so i thought i would try here and see what everyone has to say. thanks a bunch for the help. please delete if this violates any rules

I personally use Avast combined with malwarebytes anti malware so I can cover some of what antiviruses won't be able to see. 

 

Tip: You can install them together through ninite: https://ninite.com/avast-malwarebytes/

PC 1(Lenovo S400 laptop): 

CPU: i3-3217u

SSD: 120gb Super Cache mSATA SSD

HDD: Random seagate 5400rpm 500gb HDD

RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR3-SODIMM

OS: Windows 10 education

 

PC 2(2014 Mac Mini):

CPU: i5-4260u

HDD: 5400rpm 500gb

RAM: 4gb DDR3 (soldered on :( )

OS: MacOS Sierra/Windows 10 pro via bootcamp
