can't create Win bootable usb drive

I tried creating a win 10 bootable usb drive. but the media creation tool can't find my 32 GB usb drve. my pc detects it but not the media creation tool.

guy at canada computers says I should try win 8. it finds the usb drive and starts to download it. then it starts checking the files, hrs later it starts getting the files ready and 4-5 hs later I am at 21%.

should I just give in to buying a retail copy of windows 10 or 8 seems like I have to jump through hoops to get a bloody OS installed.

noooooo, instead of making a usb get the ISO, then use rufus to make the USB

Console.WriteLine("C# is aids");

There may be something wrong with the drive. I have created windows 10 installs on 2 16gb drives and a 64gb drive, and each time it took less than 1 hour.

The Media Creation Tool will let you choose to create an ISO instead of sending it to a flash drive.  I've used PowerISO to create bootable flash drives from stubborn media creation tools.  You can get an evaluation version for free.  It's a full program, but gives you annoying messages every time you open it, after the trial period.

No, it's a tool to mount ISOs onto a drive.

Thanks so much for the help here's what I've done so far

so in choose which media to use I picked ISO file rather then USB flash drive, then I burned the iso onto my usb flash drive using  PowerISO

I think I am ready to install windows 10 on my new PC
