Cable Charging Distance

Hello,

 

Does anyone know a good source that shows the respective charging distances for different interfaces such as USB vs Thunderbolt.  I found below site that shows the charging distances you can go on USB but not one for Thunderbolt.

Thank you for the video, however I am more interested on the voltage and amperage drop off rates of different kinds of cables.  For instance does a thunderbolt cable have a different cable make up that allows it to carry more voltage and amps further than a standard usb cable which starts dropping off badly after 1.5 ft.  Or if it still contains the same copper wire make up so the length it can carry the volts/amps is the same.
