Hey everyone, I am experiencing some issues with my network after switching to comcast and while swapping my old modem for a different motorola surfboard sbg6580 modem/router combo. Problems consist of random connection drops while connected directly to the router/modem and bufferbloat while someone else or I take up some of the bandwidth. Before I used a regular modem that went to my asus rt-ac66u which was providing the wifi and went further on to the switch in the basement. While I am pretty sure that there are no problems with cables I will be double checking later today for any problems with the cables and the switch was also a part of the old setup which worked perfectly. Here is a dslreports screen shot and a traceroute to riot servers here in chicago as gaming is the reason this is a bother. Thanks for the help and I am quite inexperienced with networking so any tips and explanations would be helpful. I will also try tests while connected through my asus router and the traceroute looks better than before when i tested through my router.
