Hello,

 

i've came here because i couldn't find any anwsers online and i would love to have this cleared up. When i turn on my 2nd pc i want to remote desktop it. i Cannot connect to the PC if no monitor is connected. once i connect a monitor to the computer i can remote desktop it. any ideas?

I am about to try out VNC for something similar.

Let me guess, Remoting into a server.

 

Have a go with VNC or if both the computers have internet, Teamviewer works very quickly.

And if you have Windows 10 pro on both computers then you can use the built-in remote desktop solution. 

 

As for monitor, try a fake monitor adaptor you can buy off amazon etc.

i don't really wanna use different programs outside of windows. this is why. normally my server is reachable but for some reason it stopped working

Try a fake monitor adaptor, Or a headless adaptor.
