I create this build, just want to know what you would change. It's a sub $700 build with no graphics card. I plan on buying a graphics card, later on, I'll be using the integrated graphics on the i7 for now. I plan on doing video editing and stuff and some light gaming on the side.

If video editing is your priority, then go for Ryzen 1700.
If gaming is your priority, then stick with i7 7700.

You can save a lot of money and get a dedicated GPU by choosing the locked i7/Ryzen 1700.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/supernaniskills/saved/BJWXLk is that a good build? I already have the case and the power supply that's why I didn't include it in the build or budget.

1. 2X8GB RAM better

2. Add a SSD

3. The gtx1060 3GB will suffer in gaming due to low VRAM. Choose the gtx 1050 ti or rx 470 for light gaming.

Btw what case and PSU you have now?

If you want gtx 1060 then you should consider increase your budget. Don't get the 3GB VRAM version.
