Phone taking 2 hours to erase in factory reset

Hey LTT,

My Oneplus One was getting a bit bogged down and I decided to factory reset it, after backing everything up. The issue is that it's been at least 2 hours since i started the reset and it's still on the android spinny thing saying erasing. Granted, I had 45GB worth of files on it, but I doubt it would take this long.

I don't know whether to turn it off or not, because I'm afraid that something has frozen, but i'm also afraid that I'll brick it if I do something like that.

What would you guys suggest?

OS: Cyanogenmod 13 running Android 6.0.2 Marshmallow

Plug it to charge and leave it overnight to finish.

if you haven't messed with the bootloader then it doesn't really matter because oneplus is a champ with unbricking support. they release a bunch of tools so people can unbrick it themselves with loads of guides to even recover from a hard brick. that being said just plug it in and wait.
