Mirror's Edge Catalyst and BF1 freezing every 2 seconds

I am having this problem where Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Battlefield 1 start to stutter and freeze every 2 seconds. It happens at the exact same intervals every time if I am running in a circle or running straight through the city . It seems to be a CPU issue. Here is the CPU graph while I was running in a circle in ME. ( http://imgur.com/a/5TBDQ ) Seems like the stutter happened every time it dropped down.

Is your OC stable? Are your temps safe?

Temps are around 53C on CPU. Nothing is overclocked
